The 1968 XR-7G was
an even more upscale version of the XR-7, introduced in the middle
of the 1967 model year. The "G car," so named to capitalize on
the name recognition of Mercury Cougar race driver Dan Gurney, is
readily identified by its hoodscoop and special badging. Model Becky Lock is readily identified for being just plain gorgeous. |
