No, you're not seeing things. That's a 1968 Cougar convertible. And no,
Mercury never made such a car. This car was built from a 1968 coupe with
a great deal of custom bodywork and donor parts from a 1968 Mustang. Kits
exist now to do this, but at the time, the Brown family of Missouri had to
do it all from scratch. Models Shannin Meador and Melissa Baldwin complete the red-white-and-blue theme for July by choosing just the right bikinis. |
